Development Intern

Commvault, New Jersey

Worked on MongoDB Atlas utility(DBasS)

  • Implemented command-line tool in python to automate all kind of workloads including Data Backup and Restore snapshot clusters in MongoDB Atlas.
  • Interacted with MongoDB atlas REST API's for performing below operations
    1. Discovers MongoDB clusters in an Atlas account
    2. Backup Snapshots in MongoDB clusters
    3. Restore Snapshots in MongoDB Clusters
    4. Cleanup/Prune Snapshots in Clusters
  • Implented Secure Inter-process communication for securely transmitting data like access keys from one process to another using Socket Programming.
  • Working on Intergration with existing Commvault Cloud DB instance.

    Model and Simulation Exploral

    • Developed application to check efficacy of given drug in Clinical Research Domain.
    • Implemented REST API's for executing operations like GET/PUT/POST/DELETE for user related information in database.

    Data Visualisation

    • Created multiple dashboards using Tableau to visualize patient related data in pre-clinical research. These dashboards aided in analysing data like patients test samples, effectiveness of a given drug on patients effectively. It also helped in effective decision making.

    Data Exchange Platform

    • Built data exchange platform between TPO and Client using React,Java,Spring, Hibernate, ForeFront Identity Manager, Aspera API and Aspera connect user plugin.Used HP ALM for functional and performance Testing.

Assistant System Engineer

Tata Consultancy Services, Noida(India)

    • Scripted multiple modules in java to automatically resolve tickets to add and delete users from the database and updating it to ticket tracking tool "Service Now", leading to higher completion rates with accountability and efficiency.
    • Written a java library for merging two different reports(XML file>1 GB) coming from incompatible databases and generating formatted reports using java, SAX Parser, Macro and Apache POI.This library decreased manual effort extensively.
    • Developed java utility to send notification of pending mandatory coursework of TCS associates working for pharmaceutical client to proactively notify team members regarding their training due dates to avoid any penalty. Proactive notification reduced the chances of training miss by 74%.
    • Developed websites using front end technologies(HTML, CSS, BootStrap, Javascript, React)
